The Power of AI Lessons

Our AI understands mathematics and creates visual, step-by-step explanations that help students truly understand concepts.

  • Creates lessons in 10-30 seconds
  • Generates diagrams and visual aids
  • Provides step-by-step solutions
  • Adapts to different grade levels
  • Includes practice problems
  • Ready to use on your canvas

How to Generate a Lesson

1

Open the AI Assistant

From your canvas, click the AI Assistant button (sparkles icon) in the toolbar or press Ctrl/Cmd + K.

2

Describe What You Need

Type a clear description of the lesson you want. Be specific about the topic, grade level, and what to include.

✅ Good Prompts:

  • "Explain quadratic equations with visual examples for grade 10"
  • "Create a lesson on fractions with pizza diagrams for grade 4"
  • "Pythagorean theorem with 3 practice problems and solutions"

❌ Too Vague:

  • "Math"
  • "Help with homework"
  • "Explain this" (without context)

Choose Your Options

Select additional preferences to customize your lesson:

  • Difficulty: Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced
  • Length: Quick (5 min), Standard (15 min), or Comprehensive (30 min)

Understanding Credits

How Credits Work

AI lessons use credits based on complexity. You get credits with your subscription and can buy more as needed.

Simple explanation or concept2-3 credits
Standard lesson with examples5 credits
Comprehensive lesson with practice8-10 credits

Your Plan: Check your dashboard to see your current credit balance and usage history.

💰 Credit Tip: Start with shorter prompts to test ideas, then generate comprehensive lessons when needed.

Pro Tips for Better AI Lessons

Be Specific

Include grade level, prior knowledge assumed, and specific subtopics. "Quadratic equations for grade 10, focusing on factoring method" is better than just "quadratic equations".

Iterate and Refine

If the first result isn't perfect, you can ask for modifications. "Add more visual examples" or "Make it simpler" helps refine the content.

Build Templates

Save successful AI lessons as templates. You can reuse and modify them for similar topics, saving credits and time.

Popular AI Lesson Prompts

Copy and modify these proven prompts for quick results:

"Create a visual introduction to fractions for grade 3, with pizza and pie examples"
"Explain the quadratic formula with step-by-step derivation and 3 practice problems"
"Generate 5 word problems about percentages for grade 7, with solutions"
"Create a calculus lesson on limits, with graphs and intuitive explanations"

Troubleshooting

AI generates wrong content?

Be more specific about grade level and topic. Check for typos in your prompt.

Running out of credits?

Use shorter prompts, buy credit packs, or upgrade your subscription plan.

Content not appearing on canvas?

Wait for generation to complete (progress bar). Check your internet connection.
